"This painting could just as well have been titled "Pomegranate", but I think it sounds better with "Adam & Eve". The motif shows the arms of Adam and Eve reaching for the forbidden fruit - in this case an explosive specimen! As an atheist, there is a lot I could say about this subject, but I have to leave something to the viewer's imagination as well!
